Obituary of Harold C. Volles

Harold C. Volles, 95, of Navarino passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Community Hospital. He lived in Navarino all his life. Harold was a farmer and a school bus driver at Onondaga Central School for 32 years. He enjoyed driving the students and retired in 1979. Harold was predeceased by his oldest son Calvin J. Volles in December of 2014. Surviving are his wife Marie Volles, to whom he was happily married for 67 years; his children Leslie (Margaret) Volles and Charlene Moser; daughter-in-law Terry Volles; grandchildren Michael Volles, Laurie Carmody, Daniel Volles and Zachary Moser; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother Raymond (Joyce) Volles and Harry Volles (deceased); many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be 10 to 11am Wednesday, February 3rd, followed by the funeral service at 11am, both held in the Apple Valley United Methodist Church, South Onondaga. Burial will be in the spring at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kirshner and the staff at Hematology Oncology Associates.
