Obituary of George David Porter

Type Obit Here G. David Porter Jr. July 8, 2014 George David Porter Jr., 68, of Liverpool, died Tuesday at his home. Dave was the son of the late Lillian Marie Rouse Porter and George David Porter Sr. of Onondaga Hill. He graduated from Westhill High School in 1964 and from Alfred State in 1966. Dave was an Army Veteran, and a retired civilian employee of the U.S. Army Syracuse Recruiting Battalion. Surviving are numerous cousins and extended family. Calling hours will be 4 to 6pm Monday, July 14th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus, followed by a military service. Burial will be a private ceremony.
