Obituary of Dawn M. Finlon

Dawn M. Finlon, 54, of Syracuse passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 at Crouse Hospital. Dawn had been battling cancer since being diagnosed in January of this year. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, who always put her children first. Dawn loved cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her father Joseph A. DiMasse. Surviving are her husband of 29 years Lawrence; children Joseph and Michelle; her mother Angela (Frank) Capirci; siblings Joseph DiMasse, Angela (Steve) McDonnell and Marie Golding. The family would like to thank the staff at Crouse Hospital for their loving care. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Thursday, October 8 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9am Friday in St. Francis Xavier Church, One West Main Street, Marcellus. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
