Obituary of Robert E. Crysler Sr.
Robert E. Crysler, Sr., 89 of Marietta, passed away Wednesday, October 16 with family by his side. Bob was a lifelong resident of Marcellus. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Bob worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in the International Union of Operating Engineers. Bob enjoyed playing golf and cards, wintering in Florida and especially spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Myrtle, in 2015, and daughter Judy, in 2022.
Bob is survived by Jean Schild; his children Robert E., Jr., Steven (Elaine), Timothy (Lydia) and David (Trish); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his brother Bill (Pat) Crysler of Florida.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 3rd from 1-4pm at Navarino Fire Department, 3276 Amber Road, Syracuse, NY 13215. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Navarino Fire Department.
