Obituary of Anne Janice (Ramsden) Fulton
Anne Janice (Ramsden) Fulton, 95, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2024, at Loretto Health and Rehabilitation Center. Janice was born in Syracuse on February 4, 1929, to Armand and Madeline Payette. She graduated in 1947 from Nottingham High School.
Janice loved the people, and town of Marcellus in which she lived for over seventy years. Janice was employed by the Marcellus School District in Food Service. She had many friends and was the matriarch of the family. She hosted many parties and holiday gatherings, creating traditions that continue today. She had a quick wit and unique sense of humor. Janice enjoyed shopping, bowling, golfing, playing cards and traveling, especially to Hawaii. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Janice was predeceased by husbands Clifford "Buck" Ramsden (1983) and Robert Fulton (2008).
She is survived by her three sons, Rick (Carol) of Bonita Springs, FL, Ron (Carol) of Fayetteville, NY and Kevin (Tracy) of Syracuse. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Christopher, Timothy, Alexandra, Samantha and Justin. She was especially proud of her twelve great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, April 14 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street in Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 15 in St. Francis Xavier Church, 1 W. Main Street, Marcellus at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
