Obituary of Allan J. Crysler

Allan James Crysler, 89, of Marcellus passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Al was a life long resident of Marcellus. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Al worked in the construction industry for over 50 years before retiring as an Estimator. He and his wife raised nine children in Marcellus.

In his later years, Al enjoyed going to breakfast with his neighbors and going to the casino with his brother Robert. He recently enjoyed traveling and having time in North Carolina. Above all, Al loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Al was predeceased by his wife of 63 years Peggy and his son-in-law Ken Pelchy.

Surviving are nine children Chris Pelchy, Michael (Kelly), Connie (John), Mark (Holly), Andrew, Daniel (Lynne), Nancy (Jim) Boise, Mary (J.D.) Koontz and Karen (Paul) Goodnight; his brothers William (Pat) and Robert; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be from 3 to 6pm Friday, March 3rd at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus. Services and burial will be private.
