Obituary of Joseph M. Perechinsky
Joe Perechinsky of Marcellus, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on April 23, 2015. Born in Everett, PA, on August 29, 1961, Joe is the son of Joseph G. Perechinsky and Audrey M. Perechinsky.
The University of Scranton was his college of choice, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting and subsequently went on to earn his MBA. At the time of his death, Joe was the Chief Financial Officer for Monarch Machine Tool, Inc in Cortland. Prior to this Joe was employed at Bombardier, Gray Syracuse and GTE. His work was a source of pride.
Joe enjoyed living life getting to know people of diverse backgrounds. Boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, bowling, "golfing" and NASCAR, were just a few activities that held Joe's interest over the years. Joe was an avid card player who could be seen at the Alvord House on Tuesday nights. He was a lifelong "Ramz Fan".
Family and friends held significant importance to Joe. He is survived by his wife, Ann, and daughter Kristyna (Brian); his parents Joseph and Audrey Perechinsky of Ulster, PA; siblings Laura Morelli (Anthony) of Towanda, PA and Mark Perechinsky (Lorie) of Downingtown, PA. Joe enjoyed time spent with his nieces Jessica and Catherine Morelli, of Towanda PA; and nephew Nicholas Perechinsky and nieces Anna, Sarah and Ella Perechinsky. Joe's numerous friends and neighbors have always held a special place in his heart.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 28th from 3-6pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 East Main Street, Marcellus, NY, with services to begin at 6:15pm.
