Obituary of Robert W. Rix

Robert W. Rix, 63, born in Buffalo, New York passed away suddenly at his home. He resided in Spafford, New York. Bob is survived by his wife Noreen (Flynn) Rix; daughter Abaigeal Kathryn; stepchildren Laura Raymond and Sean Raymond; and his sisters Alice Forsell, Diane Rix and Elizabeth Fox. He is predeceased by his parents Robert William Rix and Betty June Reese, as well as a sister Patricia Rising. A service and Military Funeral Honors will be held 7pm Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus, NY, with visitation 4 to 7pm prior to the service. Bob loved to fish, camp, garden and work in the serenity of the woods. He worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, independently through the Wellness Family Therapy Center where he was able to work as a true servant of humanity. Bob was a kind and gentle spirit and will be missed by so many that he gave love to unconditionally.
