Obituary of Joy L. Kotlarz

Joy L. Kotlarz, 75, of Syracuse, after a long illness, died peacefully Friday, March 27, 2015 with family and friends by her side. A native of Warners, Joy moved to Kasson Road in 1960. She worked many years as a cook, retiring in 1985. Joy was a communicant of The Church of St. Michael and St. Peter, Onondaga Hill, Syracuse. Her husband of 53 years Cashmier "Cash" P. Kotlarz Sr. died in 2014. Surviving are her children Cashmier "Bud" Jr. (Kim), Frances (Dennis) Flower, Robert (Kathy), Tracy (David) Deyo and Suzanne (Matt Ward); one sister Doris Chesebro; one brother Thomas (Sue) Webster; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4 to 7pm Tuesday, March 31, at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Wednesday in The Church of St. Michael & St. Peter. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
