Obituary of Glenn T. Parrish

Glenn T. Parrish, 79, of Marietta died Monday, February 23, 2015 in the arms of his family, in the comfort of his home. His greatest joy was his family and his passion was serving others. Glenn was an English teacher at Fayetteville-Manlius High School retiring in 1991. Along with his wife, Glenn ventured on short term missions in Kenya and Papua New Guinea. He enjoyed volunteering at the Matthew 25 Farm in Vesper. Glenn was predeceased by infant son Todd Dwight in 1962. Surviving are his wife of 57 years Janet L. "Jan" Parrish; children Kimberlee (Walter) St. Pierre of Syracuse, David (Sandy) Parrish of Miami, FL and Pamela (John) Eberle of Marietta and Diana Parrish of Marcellus; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Calling hours are 4 to 6pm Friday, February 27th at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. The funeral service will be 10am Saturday in Grace Chapel, 1674 Rt. 20, Skaneateles.
