Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Fitch Haag
Jean E. Haag, 88, of Syracuse passed away February 21, 2020 at her home, quietly in her sleep. A native of Fulton, Jean lived primarily in Syracuse, New York. Jean had numerous jobs but, her most fulfilling work came when employed by Fitzgibbons Associates as a HR consultant. Jean enjoyed being on her land, camping, cutting wood, making fires, bird and animal watching, mowing on her garden tractor, going to the symphony, dancing, singing and completing projects. Jean was an avid reader and a leading edge thinker who was committed to living an authentic life. She will be remembered by many friends and family for her willingness to accept, support and provide counsel.
Surviving are her children Elizabeth, Eric (April), and Peter (Beth); her children’s father Frederick E. Haag; brother Hollis W. Fitch; 2 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Jean dearly loved and enjoyed her many nieces and nephews. She also cherished her circle of friends.
A gathering to honor her life will occur spring / summer of 2020. Details regarding to follow.
