Obituary of Alan C. Fitch

Alan C. Fitch, 93, of Marcellus passed away January 18, 2020 at home quietly, surrounded by his family. A native of Fulton, Alan lived in Marcellus 53 years. He was a Navy veteran. Alan retired from Galson and Galson Consulting Engineers in 1991, after 35 years. He was a member of Marcellus First Presbyterian Church. Alan enjoyed woodworking, golf and was an avid bird watcher. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Jean M. Surviving are his children Jeris (Alan) Daniels, Jaleen D'Ambrosio, Steven (Trish), Jack (Laurie) and Eric (Jodi); brother Hollis W. Fitch; sister Jean Haag; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2pm to 5pm January 23, 2020 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus.
