Obituary of Leonard Bishop

Leonard "Bish" Bishop, 85, of Marcellus passed away peacefully at home with family by his side. He was proud to have served in the US Navy. Leonard enjoyed the outdoors and his garden. He was a self employed lumber merchant, carpenter, and taxidermist. Leonard was loved by all and served as a volunteer at Baltimore Woods Nature Center. He was predeceased by his wife Juanita (Barrows) in 1994, and his parents Horace and Genevieve (Ostrum). Surviving are his two sons Dan (Patty) and Dave (Tina); grandchildren Jamie, Danielle, Garrett, Rob, Julie, Jessica, Jaclyn and Emily; and his sister Nancy (Billings). Calling hours will be 3 to 7pm Tuesday at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. Service and burial private.
