Obituary of Anne "Beanie" Gallinger
Anne “Beanie” Gallinger, 82, of Camillus and formerly of Marcellus, passed away Monday after a brief illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital, with family by her side.
Anne was a lifelong resident of Marcellus for over 70 years, where she and husband Fred raised their family. She worked for the Marcellus Central School District for many years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. After her husband passed in 2002, Anne relocated to the Camillus area, where she became a communicant of Holy Family Church. Her daughter Sandy died in 1965.
She is survived by two daughters Rebecca Guarasci (Jim) of Liverpool and Renee Kadilak (Jeffery) of Baldwinsville; son David Gallinger (Patty Esposito) of Marcellus; grandson DJ Guarasci (Chrissy) of Marcellus; granddaughter Kristen Orbino Callans of Indiana; and five great-grandchildren Leiah, Olivia, David, Lana and Aubrey of Marcellus; and granddogs Sadie, Emma and Bailey Louise.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6pm Friday, January 4, 2019 at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main Street, Marcellus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Saturday, January 5 in Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse. The Rite of Committal and burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
