Obituary of Bruce E. Meyer

Bruce E. Meyer, 91, of Preble passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at home. He was raised in Eastwood and New Salem, New York.  Bruce was a United States Army Veteran stationed in Panama.  He attended Cornell University.  Bruce worked as a truck driver and one of his greatest pleasures was working many area farms doing custom combining. He was an usher and greeter for many years at Grace Chapel.

Surviving are his eight children Bruce Jr. (Aimee), Brad, Leesa (Abe) Maldonado, Marta Hewitt, Ben (Grace), Ginette (Yancy) Conant, Rosmyn (Anthony) Squitieri and Bill (Vickie); 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 10 from 3 to 5pm, with the funeral service to follow at 5:15pm, both held at Ryan Funeral Home, 44 E. Main St., Marcellus.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church, Marietta or Grace Chapel, Skaneateles.
