Obituary of Mildred L. Dwyer
Mildred L. Dwyer, 82, of Onondaga, passed away April 2, 2017. Daughter of the late Leonard and Eva Jordan. Survived by husband William J. Dwyer, of Onondaga; sons Daniel of Rochester, William (Kate) of Atlanta, GA; daughters Jennifer McIntosh (Don) of Denver, CO, and Amy Hunger (Lyle) of Washington D.C., along with grandchildren Will and Madison. Mildred is also survived by sister Esther Kirchheimer of La Jolla, CA and her Sister's-In-Law Evelyn Jordan of Auburn and Gertrude Jordan of Union Springs.
Mildred was born and raised in Auburn, NY, trained and initially worked as a nurse, and then became a devoted mother and grandmother. Known to her family as 'Meem'; she was a caring Daughter, considerate Sister and a fun loving Aunt. She is remembered as the Aunt who would drive her nieces and nephews to Skaneateles for a swim in the Lake and an Ice Cream cone for the ride home. Her passion for the outdoors and skiing enabled her to be a Nurse for a ski resort in North Conway, VT for several winters. She retired from (OCM BOCES), and did volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and Community General Hospital. Meem is also a Member of Park Central Presbyterian Church. She is deeply missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Leonard, Clifford, Stuart, Seward, and sisters Eleanor and Barbara. She was also predeceased by brother-in-law Arthur and sister's-in-law Helen Anna and Louise.

A Memorial Service will be held in her memory on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 5:30pm in the Park Central Presbyterian Church, Syracuse.
