Obituary of Clifford C Kopecky

Clifford C. Kopecky June 2, 2014 Clifford C. Kopecky, 69, of Marcellus died Monday. Cliff worked 26 years for the Syracuse Fire Department, retiring in 1998. He was a Navy Veteran and a member of the Marcellus American Legion Ralph Share Post #297. Cliff also was a member of the Camillus Elks Lodge #2367 and a life member of the NRA. Along with his wife, he wintered 14 years in Surfside Beach, SC. Cliff was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 42 years Carol; their son Christopher of Penn Yan; twin grandchildren Ana and Trea; three sisters Judy Holmes, Jean Kopecky and Jane Granger; sister-in-law Teri Hunt; and his faithful friend Buddy. There will be no calling hours. Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to MAVES or Camillus Elks Lodge #2367.
